| Golden Moray | Re: September Coral of the Month: Tubastrea I find that more than short-sighted. Only because you know few and also few kinds are sold. Were you already once dip in the Atlantic or Pacific between 25 and 50 meters (82 - 164ft) ? There arrives as well as no more sunlight, it gives however in many places beautiful azooxanthelle Corals. There is straight 5% of the oceans investigated, already therefore I would not ask. I know that your question was not “so seriously meant”.

| Angel Girl's Daddy ![]() | Re: September Coral of the Month: Tubastrea The sun does not require it's own light. It is a shining beacon in a void of pure black. I find the coral was properly named. ![]()

| Bryozoan | Re: September Coral of the Month: Tubastrea I just noticed that one of my favorite corals was September's coral of the month. This post could be called. "Double fun, two specimens for the price of one!" or "Harvesting news" in November, or "Thankful at Thanksgiving time": ![]() happy 'lil story: I bought this sun cup about 6 months ago, and when I fed it, besides each polyp opening up to receive food, I saw the colony open and close down the middle. I was confused about the bizarre "eating habits" of this coral, until I find later that it was growing on a live clam!!! I didn't realize it until recently when the colony split down the middle into two sections, because the clam had died, and it's shell opened up. <Vive el sol> ![]()
