Re: lighting of yellow polyp?

So you have two 100w PC bulbs on a 20g? Wow. I had 4 96w on my 125.
Sounds like plenty of light to me. Particulalry for polyps. They are not one of the more light demanding corals.

Re: lighting of yellow polyp?

I would double check the wattage on the bulbs since that is not a standard wattage for power compact bulbs. Usually they run 9watt, 13watt, 24watt, 32watt, 55/65watt, and 96watt.
That said if you have two 55 watt (24 inch bulbs) they will be plenty for yellow polyps.

Re: lighting of yellow polyp?

Nothing directly for the coral.
You want to be sure all your water parameters are in line with your normal water tests. I do feed my corals occasionally. I have several different commercial coral foods that I rotate through. Marine Snow, Coral Vibrance, cyclopeze and a couple others I am not thinking of at the moment.
