Unhappy feather dusters

I have two featherdusters that are doing great but the thrid one i had lost his feathers. then i saw the worm poking his head in and out of the tube. I have not seen him in a while. Should i get rid of the tube? Did the worm leave and where did it go?

Re: feather dusters

NO!!!!! THey "pop" thier heads of when somthing is harasing them , such as a yellow cory warasse or similair pest.
The worm will stay in the tub more time thannot and simply grow a new crown.

That depends. My Euphyllias Ricordeas and Trachyphyllia I will feed small pieces of scallop or shrimp then there's the fish food which will include Cyclop-eeze and detritus that lands on them or pods that may be eaten by them or dissolved organics or bacteria...so much food so little time
