Leather Bumps

okay guys..as you all know, I am new to reef-keeping (6-months),
..what is that is fish-years?...
anyway, what are these newly found bumps or fingers on my yellow leather?

thanks as usual for helping me learn ...

thanks Woodstock! I just did a water chg and started adding nutrients to get my Ca++ up (it was 350). Must be what did it!

the damsel was an adoptive transplant (her name is Sylvia)..she gid in the reef for 3 weeks before making an appearance...now she hangs out under the 'umbrella' of the leather!...go figure!

yes no need to worry if you leather acts wierd. they go through spells where the just don't look right and then the next day they're fine!

thanks DEA....i've found that out the hard way;
between scrunching up, sliming, having major polyps to negative polyps, laying down in the morning...not to mention being the symbiont for a comb jelly! the coral has given me palpitations. I love it.
Can't wait to expand my coral collection!

here's a newer photo with him a bit more "fluffed"
