| Torch coral | Clorine Bleach I used clorine bleach to clean an old plastic tub that I was planning to use for storing saltwater. What's a good way to get rid of the clorine after? I've already rinse it with those aquarium declorinator. Right now it's filled with a second batch of water with a tripple dose of NovaAqua+. I don't smell anything anymore, but I don't know if it's already saft to use after 5 days. |

| Rabid Wolverine Reefer ![]() | Re: Clorine Bleach set it outside in the sun for a day and you will be fine. just one more thing, check to see if its safe for use. mix some water up and let it sit for a few days then test the PO4 levels. some plastics leach phosphates.

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Clorine Bleach Wit, he's in San Fran. They never see any sun...Sorry Gussy, couldn't resist. If you want a strong dechlorinator, go to a photo supply shop and get sodium thiosulphate. (hypo) It's what most dechlorinator solutions are made of anyway. one or 2 drops per gallon, and chlorine goes away.

| Totally back ![]() | Re: Clorine Bleach From what I understand Seachem's prime is Sodium thiosulfate. It's what we used at the aquaculture facility when we used municipal water.
