| Tunicate | Pearl Bubble deteriorating... question about where good articles/info are at?? I have a Pearl Bubble that is slowly deteriorating... looking for help... AND one other question too. Let me ask that first. AFter reading the nice article (at Advanced Aquarists??) about how to care for GONI's I wondered.. is there a comprehensive guide online somewhere for diff. corals like this article?? I've been suggested ONE book, and I've dug through several sites for hours. My bubble has been getting worse. Might die soon if I don't do better on it's care. After reading the GONI article I started target feeding it some CYCLO-peeze/mysis/Phyto-feast solutions too. In the past I've tried to look for the tentacles and feed it krill or silver-sides too but it never seemed to take anything. It's been in the same spot in my tank for months so I'm pretty sure it's happy where it's at with flow and lights. THANKS FELLAS. |

I had a similar problem with my Trachyphyllia and used an Iodine dip and placed it in a shaded area and it eventually recovered. What type of lighting do you have ? How tall is your tank ? Where in your tank is the Bubble placed ?

| Smilie Bartender ![]() | Re: Pearl Bubble deteriorating... question about where good articles/info are at?? There sure is, our sister site, www.reefindex.com has links to over 1500 articles categorized by topics. For example, here's the link to coral care (175 articles) and here's the category for LPS corals with 42 articles. I think you'll find a bunch of those helpful. You can find almost the same stuff at the knowledgebase here (use the drop-down menu that says "learn about" in the left column of our home page) but it's not as up-to-date as reefindex. ![]() T
