| Torch coral ![]() | ASM Skimmer bubbles I have an ASM 4 skimmer and cleaned out the collection cup thingy, put it back on and plugged it back in and bubbles everywhere. THe body of the skimmer is full of bubbles and they are getting back into the tank. What happened and how do I stop them. I have tried moving the outlet arm up and down and this is not working. I do have the sponge on the outlet also. Thanks

| Totally back ![]() | Re: ASM Skimmer bubbles Are you sure the outlet pipe is fully secured on the skimmer? My other recomendation is to put a valve on the air intake to regulate how much air is introduced to the skimmer. If that still doesn't help, perhaps a gate vlave mod, or just extending the outlet pipe higher can help. In addition to allowing you to skim wetter.
