| Reef Lobster ![]() | Rearing mysis shrimp? Has anyone succesfully raised mysis shrimp. THrough my whole refugium fiasco, I have found a least a dozen or more mysis shrimp in the fuge and was wondering how (if possible) I could get them to adulthood. I have target feeding some phytoplankton and rotifers but don't know much else to do. I am assuming the success rate is relatively low but I just wondered if anyone had any experience. FWIW, I have no clue what kind of shrimp they are... They could be peppermint shrimp although I haven't seen one of these in my tanks in months (doesn't mean they aren't there, I jsut havent seen them) or I suppose even brine shrimp... Take er easy Scott T. Perhaps my terminology is a bit off, I was under the assumption that mysis was the juvenille form of shrimp, not a particular species. So, I have baby shrimp, whether it is mysis or peppermint or brine, I don't know Last edited by ScottT1980 : 12-21-2003 at 01:28 PM. |
