Cool Couldnt Resist!!! 30 gls cube

Well I wanted to get a small cube for a long time and had weakness to get one I guess is my Christmas present
so the specs are:

30 gls Oceanic cube (had it drilled locally)
12 gls sump (DIY with HD acrylic)
Skimmer the old skimmer from my 90 gls
nielsen reactor GEO
Aquaspacelight mini 250 w HQI 20k XM Bulb
25 lb of seafloor
3 lb of seeded live sand from my main display and rubble rock from my 90gls sump to help cicle a bit faster the tank.

Aquaespacelight Mini comes with 1 250w 10 k AB bulb but I change it for the 20k XM... see what happens

the rock is rubble that I had in my main display sump, but it will help to kick-in a little life till I find a couple of nice show pieces

Just Curious,

Do you plan on keeping it in your bedroom?
What do you plan on stocking it with?

I want to get a cube also but, I want to keep seahorses in mine.
May be moving next year I had planned on waiting till then but, may give in. Just didn't really want to move two tanks.

I love the look of the cubes!

Can't wait to see pics of yours take shape. Keep us updated!!

here is the 20k XM double ended I have never use this bulb but since im a 20k user thought to give it a shot and see how it does so for those interested in the performance of this bulb I 'll keep an update.

Hi Gina,
yes im planning on keeping it on the bedroom im also trying to make it dead silent which is working so far.
Im definatelly going to do a little mixed reef LPS, a few SPS, zoo's as much color as I can add
I would say this is the perfect tank for a couple of seahorses with nice macro definatelly will concider adding maybe one here ... will see

that was one of my mayor concerns but this is dead silent...and im planning on keepinf it that way lol

That looks awesome robz I have an oceanic hex, and now that I saw yours drilled I might do that to mine, After I get my new custom made acrylic keep us updated I might need to get a good look at the plumbing
