if i have one more

if i have one more bad day this year with my tank iam selling whats left came home today and float had hung dumped 20 gallons of lime water in th etank most fish where sitting on the bottem all rock is white but corals and clams are all open. SO i have done a 25 gallon water change will do more soo as i have the water witch will be in the morning iam running carbon nowi see all fish but 2 the rest look a lot better and are swimming looking for food and something always happens when i get everything where i want it ca was 430 before this and i just got dkh up to 12 then all this happens

Wow, that isn't good. Have you checked your pH? When you do your water change I would try to suck as much off the rock as possible, so it doesn't kill anything more than what it already has.

DIY is my dream... ...well OK the only way I can afford this Addiction!!
Just as the light goes on in my head... ... I break the bulb!!

i keep blowing it off with power heads cant reach to suck out from display have to do water change from fuge but have filter socks on all drain lines sucks dont have any ph test left i put white vinegar in the tank cleared it up very fast and i know it droped the ph back down fast

Hang in there. We or should I say I felt that way after we had an anemone die in the tank and didn't take it out soon enough. Lost alot of fish and inverts. It was weeks before we could keep any more inverts. But, everything is going well for now. Notice, I say for now!!!! Knock on wood! Where's wooddood? Let me knock on him! hehehe Just kiddin!

Ugh, Brian, that really stinks. The tank doesn't look too bad, though I imagine the fish didn't deal with the pH spike very well. How are they doing?

Keep us posted ~ it's such a beautiful tank; makes you hate to see things go wrong!

well all fish shrimp and eel are alive a well now xenia is pulsing againg so i think all will be ok
