Reefers Lava Lamp

so, tonight im getting ready to go to bed, but before i do, i go and check on my new skimmer. want to make sure its ok and going to do anything silly during the night (prankers i tell ya) i sit down next to it and before i know it, i have been there 30 minutes watching it chug away.

watching the mixing chamber full of bubbles swirling around. seeing patterns at they rise and twist. watching them turn to foam, noticing how the bubbles reduce in size as they rise in the foam tube. noticing the subtle color changes as the foam gets higher and higher. white, then off white, to tan,,,then when you reach the top of the foam column, a crusty brown layer that rises, then burps and falls only to rise again. over and over it rises and falls, then a portion breaks free and takes a slow slide downward, creeping its way to the collection cup. as it does, a bubble pops and it appears to stop, then continues. finally the collection cup has a murky fluid with bubbles that still refuse to die. the duty of the skimmer complete.

i need a life~~
