| Limpet | detrivore kits I am thinking of buying one of these kits from either inland aquatics or the hawiian company isfp i can look into the tank and see critters running around everywhere, and at various times i can shine a flashlight into tankl and some widdle worms start showing up. don't know what they are but i have seen them get caught by some the corals. I don't think that i have enough diversity in the sand bed. has anyone added these to their tanks and if so, can you determine if it was worth the money, kinda hard to explain to wife how i spent $100 on something she can't see. Thanks in advance |

| Fish Addict ![]() | I would say that they are a great idea if you are having problems with detrius, and other things on the sandbed, and also help keep things clean constantly. They are also good for a diversity of animals/bugs in your tank. You can just tell your wife that you spent $100 on a "vacuum" for your tank With those worms, I couldn't tell ya what they are, but they don't sound like they are a problem if the corals are eating them, unless there are hundreds of em.

Your pods and things should increase as your tank matures. Maybe some background on your tank would help, eh? Thanks ![]()

I've ordered from IPSF in the past, and though I wasn't totally dissapointed ... I did kind of give it the *this is it for $100.00?* look. Not really worth it, IMO. I have had good experiences with Inland Aquatics, but have only purchased macro algaes from them. Another option is to find a local reef club, or some reefers in your local area, and trade some LS/LR rubble with them. HTH!
