| Sea Pen | Is this a BAD pest Hi to all, my name is Brian and I live in Anchorage Alaska. I have started my first reef tank and will be comming here often to ask questions and learning more about the art of reef keeping. I got some live rock frags with these little plant like things on them. I was told that they are BAD. Can someone let me know if this is true. I bought a small bottle of Ph down to kill them if they are. I also have another pic of something else I need to get an ID on. I will post that later. Thanks to all, BHinAK Last edited by BHinAK : 11-23-2005 at 05:44 AM. |

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Aiptasia!! Kill it quickly! They are indeed pests. Purchase some 'Joe's Juice' to kill it or inject it with a hypodermic needle using hot vinegar.

| Torch coral | Put Peppermint Shrimps (NOT camel) in the tank. It will take some time, but they will eventually eat all of them...you'll still have to feed your shrips though. I also have th Aiptasia on a 12G tank, but they haven't multiple beyond 6 to 8. I like seeing them there. |
