Aquamedc vs H&S which skimmer to pick

Looking to get a new skimmer to replace my Berlin Turbo
I am looking at the the AB Multi and H&S (the smallest insump model)
Which one do you think is a better of the 2 skimmers
Thanks.

Are you in Europe?
I suspect the H&S would be better, but not having seen them in action myself as they aren't extermely common over here I couldn't tell you for sure.
The Aquamedic Turbofloater Multi is popular over here, however I feel for about $30-$50 more you can get a MUCH better skimmer than the Turbofloater Multi.

I have the turbo-flotor multi and have no regrets it's very versatile and can spit up some serious effluent very good value IMO for tanks under a 100gal.

One of the better LFS in the S.F. Bay area had a H&S working next to a comparable sized Euro-Reef in the sump of their SPS tank, and the difference in quality and quantity of skimmate was astounding. The H&S kicked the E/R's butt, AND, used less electricity doing it. By far, one of the most efficient skimmers I've ever seen. A/M does make good skimmers, but have heard that they tend to need a lot of adjusting if your sump level changes during the day. IMO, the H&S is a far better skimmer than the Aqua-Medic multi...

Thanks....
I am located in Toronto Canada....
The difference in price between the AB & H&S is about $100.
The new AB is using OR pumps where as before they were using the Aquabee (based on what the LFS said) which is what H&S uses....
How much foot print does the AB takes up (incl. the OR pump). One of the reasons I am leaning toward the AB is it might have a smaller foot print than the the smallest H&S. My sump is partitioned hence space is limited.
Thanks again.

The TF multi is:
Height: 55 cm, c. 22"
Total width: 17 x 17 cm, c. 7" x 7"
I spoke to Jeremy at premiumaquatics.com and he agreed that
the OR pump is much better then the aquabee which aquamedic replaced and it made the turbo-flotor more efficient, like I said I have no regrets. In the photo you can see the effluent I get in a about 6-8 days in a moderately stocked tank.

Isn't the 7" x 7" only the body and not incl. the pump?
How finky is the AB? The reason I am replacing my Berlin Turbo is that it is finky and noisy.....never mind the fact I replaced the impeller 4 times already in 4 years ....

No it doesn't include the pump I use mine externally on my sump. In the break-in period you'll get real wet skimmate and will have to empty the collection cup frequently when I e-mailed aqua-medic they told me to remove the cover to the collection cup until it settled down which it did after several hours, but once it settles you'll never have a problem.
