MacroAlgae???

I would like to put some MacroAlgae in my tank. just for the looks, I wound not be putting in enough for any type of nutrient export.My tank is a 75 gl FOWLR Bare Bottom. it has about 80lbs of live rock. 2 pajama cardinals, 5 green chromis ,50 astrea snails, 30 cerith snails, 260 watts of light (2- 65 watt actinic and 2- 65 watt daylight)and a Remora skimmer (hot). what would be the best macroalgae to put in. by best I mean easy to care for and wont over take the whole tank.

If you supplement the calcium, you could go with halmeda . I have some and like it. It is pretty and grows very quickly but it very easy to trim (take the trimmings to your LFS for $).

I agree with Woody, Halimeda. They will have an effect on your Ca and Alk as the are made of CaCO3 just like corals.
