| Golden Moray | Hi tmc! I don't have one, but I've read numerous posts about bleaching being a common issue among Sabea anemones. Warnberg just recently delt with this, I thought it looked healthy and attractive until other members of RS recognized the issue Warnberg I think the mention of bleaching occurs around post 143 or so. Karma for the research ![]()

| Torch coral | Thanks Doni!! that pic is kinda outdated. he is brownish with purty purple tips. my clowns are so cute playing in and out of the anemone. Ill post a newer pic soon, so you can see the diff. slowly accustom the lighting to the anemone, as it will fully expand more and more each day to grab the light. youll notice it slowly, and it will look healthier with more light. in my 20L I have it under a 55W PC 10000K and a 55W PC Actinic 03, and it loves it. best of luck TMC!!!

| Wannabe Guru ![]() | I had a Sebae Anemone for close to a year before it wrapped itself around a heater in my Hex and perished. When I bought it it was bleached but within a couple of months it completetly recovered and regained color. It also grew at a shocking pace from about 3-4" to almost a foot in diameter as a matter of fact I was planning to return it to the LFS because it had grown so large before it died. I fed it regularly about twice a week until it recovered it's photosynthetic ability. It needs alot of light and flow and it's really important to find a healthy specimen the vast majority die in captivity because IMO of the way it's handled and bleached.

| Torch coral | all you really gotta do is keep the lighting good and keep feeding it every couple of days until its strong enough to go on its own. i usually feed mine a mix of cyclopeeze, phyto and mysis mixed together and fully thawed, and the clowns will love it too as they come closer to your anemone, thus learning to host in it. (just to help)
