| Scopas Tang | I have used chemi pure in the past and experianced the problem you are mentioning. I found that in rinsing not to grind the particles as this seems to agrivate the black "soot" release. I have always rinsed very throughly and in placing do not grind or mash contents but place somewhat gently and the release will be minimal. I have never experiance a problem with the "soot" but it kind of gets on things if it continues to expel. just rinse and rinse and then place gently. (I do intend to use it in my current system that I am just starting to set up). good luck. |
