XM 15Ks?

Any experience with these? I have heard problems with the 10Ks turning yellow, but have never heard anything regarding the 15Ks.

I currently miss the heck out of my VHO lighting. While I get more penetration with the halides, the colors just aren't the same.

Thanks
Scott T.

Scott,
TBH, I think since you are going from VHO to MH, you might be better satisfied running 20k bulbs. I'm not sure what type of livestock you are trying to keep, but your tank is pretty shallow, and I think you could get by with 175 20k's for the stuff I think you like to keep. Just keep SPS near the top.
JMO. But let us know how you like the 15's. I've personally gotten used to the bright whote from the halides and sometimes washed out look some of my corals develop.

One of the 15ks is on the tank, might as well be a 20K, pretty blue. I will have a better idea once I have the second 15K up and running. To be honest, I am glad I didn't go any bluer, although I don't see much of a difference between this bulb and most 20K bulbs

Take er easy

My coralvue 14k's look like my coralvue 10k's...
I keep forgeting to change the nipple position on it. Guess I might as well do it now while it is on my mind and the lights are off.
