Hippos

I was at the lfs today and saw some small hippo tangs...not ultra small but a large kind of small...but not quite medium size. It was a little less than half the size of the hippo I have now. I was wondering if I threw him in my tank if the bigger hippo would attack it or if they would get along ok. Or worse yet, would the yellow tang attack? The yellow tang is the one that gets nasty.

Just curious.

How big is your tank Alan? Unless it is in the 200 - 300 gallon range I wouldn't mix those Hippos.

Yes, the bigger tang would chase him relentlessly... unless as Craig mentioned, you have a very large tank.
