I recently took my tank apart to take out the flame angel so I could get this brain back into my tank. I think this coral is doing great and I attached 2 photos of it....one under regular light and the second with just the actinics on.

This I think is my favorite coral and it adds a nice little punch of color to the tank.

Very pretty coral! I tried to keep a beautiful bright green candy cane colony once but had to remove it due to my copperband butterfly munching on it

It was a tough choice deciding which to keep but I opted for the CBB

I see you chose the coral.

Well I DO miss the flame angel...he had some class

Its just that Im having a hard time finding beautifully colored corals that I love and can add to my tank....so I figured the brain stays, the angel goes.

Oh well.

Gorgeous! I thought that they do better on the substrate, though?

I was told to put them on a flat service of rock and not on the sand.

Anyone have thoughts on which is better?
