| Golden Moray | WELCOME TO REEF SANTUARY!!! Actually, this is the first that I've heard of it. I went looking through Joe Burgers and Sanjay Joshi's tests of lights and they haven't tested them yet either. I'm intrigued....do you have any links or info?

| Reef Sanctuary's Mr. Wizard ![]() | These would be the new double ended R7s Type 150W metal halide lamps with Ra 96. Availible in 8 colors; 8 COLORS (3500K, 4500K, 6500K, 20000K, 50000K, BLUE, GREEN & RED). | Tunicate | I talked with someone in Singapor who has seen them and he said the color is more like 10K white and very bright. This isn't suprising since the 50,000K Aqua is not as blue as any 20k bulbs I've seen. Iwasaki states the kelvin rating is for reference only. I think the 50,000K Aqua is a great bulb especially if you don't have any supplemental lighting. Based on Iwasakis reputation I would guess the 20K Aqaua 2 is a good bulb that may even look better with some blue supplementation. Quote:
