| Star Polyps ![]() | Picked up these gems last night ...... We all know we are supposed to have GFI circuits for our tanks but many of us, myself included, havent gotten around to that yet. Last night I found these in Lowes. The small portable one was just 10 bucks and the 4 gang box was 30. Cheap and easy protection so I thought I would pass it along. Peter

| the wood dude ![]() | well if your house is wired with gfci's through out you must be resetting breakers quite a bit. gfci's are usually only in wet areas of the home like around the sink and kitchen cabinets and in the bathroom. but this is depending on where you live and the electrical codes in your area. when i wired my fish room i put in 2 seperate circuits both on ground fault outlets. are saying all your outlets are gfci's or all your breakers in the main breaker box are gfci breakers. gfci breakers all will have a curly cue wire coming out of them that hook to the ground lugs in the breaker box. if your house is wired either way it would be the first time i have ever seen it done. just curious to what you really have. dave. ![]()
