| Sea Pen | Hi all, After many, many time of thinking how to finish modifiyng my former wetdry finally I got it done and have to say Im very satisfied with results. Previous step was... ![]() ![]() And many of you help me with suggestions to came into... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My fuge section with LR and some algae ![]() Change old wetdry inlet and tray with cotton pads for a filter sock. Huge difference in noise reduction!! First chamber modified to fit filter sock and Urchin Pro skimmer. Please... notice my sock mount hardware and feel free to copy it. Second chamber is fuge )I know is not best position but had some restrictions) with LR, 6400K light in oposite cycle than main light and some macro algae. HEater is also here. Im thinking into add aragonite into fuge and get rid of some rock pieces but dont know. After that is a bubble trap, very effective by the way, and then return chamber with mag9.5 and two carbon bags. Here you have some images from tank: Dr. reef and my GSP that I once belive dead. ![]() Duster brothers with some Xenias home fraged. ![]() Candy Cane frag. HEad on right has split here in home so I guess he is happy and growing. ![]() Zoas colony and mushrooms colony (bottom) and a couple of cleaner team members, hermits. ![]() Finally a full tank shot ![]() Hope you like it. Please feel free to make any comments, all will be more than welcome. My next upgrade project is... a new photo camera becasue Ive notice this one has very poor image quality. Greetings

| Sea Pen | Re: My new sump/fuge combo, comments welcome I havent tested water yet since changes, but it looks much more cleaner. I have to clean sock twice a week becasue it gets clogged. Im planning to get another one and switch them twice a week.

| Tunicate | Re: My new sump/fuge combo, comments welcome Looks good. Give that algae a chance to grow, maybe add some Chaeto and you'll see some changes. Nice sock holder you made. Looks like the sock is higher than the surface but yet it's overflowing. Is that due to too much flow or dirty sock? When I see water coming over the top of my sock I figure it's clogged and time to change. Rockscape looks good too. |
