| Midas Blenny | Okay after being set up for about 7 months I have some touch up questions, any answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!: 1. At what point in the day is it best to feed phytoplankton and how much? morning (when actinics are on), afternoon (both MH and actinics on), or night (none of the lights are on). 2. Same question as above but using Golden Pearls size: 5-50 Microns? 3. Same as both above except using Rotifers? 4. When is it best to add Calcium (tropic marin bio-calcium) Basically when do corals typically devote their energies most in building their skeleton? 5. What Temperature is best for growth of soft, LPS, and SPS corals (if answers are type-specific even better! )?6. What is considered over done in the following parameters.. calcium, magnesium, Alk, and salinity? As of now I have about 475-500 calc, about 1450-1500 mag, about 15.5 lk, and 1.024 salinity... I know they should be considered good, but I am dying to know how I got the alk so high with the calcium being high too... not sure if I should be worried. 7. Should a clam's mantle (I have a medium size derasa clam) be toucing the glass? Thank you all so much for looking/responding I will, by today, have pictures up of my tank... and I have all of the people on Reefsanctuary.com and others to thank! |
