| Torch coral  |  Vortex Diatom D-1 I'm using my new Vortex Diatom D-1 filter for the first time. It seems to be working but the exhaust line is blowing alot of bubbles into the main tank. It does it in pulses....no bubbles, then a blast of bubbles. Any D-1 users outher experience this also? Is this normal? I'm I doing something wrong? Thanks

| Rabid Wolverine Reefer   | make sure the hoses are on fully and firmly. make sure the filter sleeve is not caught in the seal. is just when the fiter is first set up and running or contantly over a few hours? could also be air build up due to cavitation of the incoming water. its no real big deal if oyu are just using it to polish the water.
