Gorilla Crab & Zoanthids

You know the furry, so called evil or gorilla crabs that many of us have tried dilligently to remove from our systems? Has anyone see these guys eat zoanthids? I doubt he is the culprit, but I am trying to think of another potential predator.

There is a nudi that eats zoanthids or dying sponge underneath the zoanthid matt that kills the zoo's.

Thanks Johnny, I have searched for nudis for quite some time and no sign of the infamous sponge either. Who knows...

Hard to say Scott. People have had even emerald crabs cause probs with zoanthids. It wasn't eating them....it was ripping them off of the rock looking for food underneath.

I know that my red-eyed crab from Heck was a danger to my zoanthids and xenia.
