| Pistol Shrimp  | New setup--- Aquapod 24!!! Just got a used Aquapod24...ready to set-it-up!!!!!!  The tank came with upgraded lighting system from nanocustoms (3x36w pc) i know i know PC isnt the greatest, would have preferred t5 but oh well. Also came with a nice stand, heater, thermometer, LS, rubble, maxijet 1200, original pump and koralia nano. No scratches and beautiful i am so excited!! The best part is the setup cost $125!!!! yea!!!! Cool so hopefully now i can finally setup a journal. Ive been bugging everyone on here for tips, recommendations and help...finally it will all come to use. Thank you so much for all of your help. Stoked in San Diego, Sean B

| Pistol Shrimp | Re: New setup--- Aquapod 24!!! oh you know...i have no idea. lol. no what i am thinking about is mainly live rock, perhaps nothing in the back unit (because LRR can trap just as much nitrates as BB's) and a medium sand bed at about 2.5" I am obsessed with softies and LPS because of corals and of course I am limited with SPS. I might try a monti cap because they are beautiful and not too demanding (or maybe a cup coral). Fish List: Royal gramma or firefish Randalls goby Clown (true perc) 1 more maybe? havent decided on another fish..if so it would probably be a goby, i love benthic interesting fishes. Coral List: Hammer or Frogspawn Candy canes GSP Zoanthids for sure Mushrooms for sure Monti cap?? Pulsing xenia Possibly blastos & acans Thats all i got so far. I would love to add a refugium to the back chamber somehow and nightlights to the front. I have the hookups for the nightlights but no LED's or proper mounts for them. Awesome!!! Im so excited. I thought I had some mojano anemones, but they were pink corallimorphs (at least i think they are) im stoked! My LR is really nice quality, tons of featherdusters, sponges, bristleworms, brittlestars, came with 1 mushroom and some xenia too!
