Re: Brown Algae

I am a total n00b so keep that in mind, but cutting back my main light cycle from 1 hours to 8 knocked down a LOT of it in about a week.

And I'm sure everyone will want to know specifics of your tank (age, light cycle, contents, water parms, etc)

Re: Brown Algae

What brand of salt are you using just out of curiosity? I am a pretty firm believer that the salt you chose has a big impact on algae growth, water quality and of course animal health.
