Question Do you use any man-made rock in your tank?

I am curious to see how many of y'all use any man-made rock, be it actual rock pieces or even rock walls, etc. When I say man-made I mean anything created not by nature, but by human hand.

Kinda curious to see what percentage of the members do use it. Please, by all means, post your opinion of why or why not.. I'd love to hear it.

I read a post on here about using cinderblocks with the live rock. This is something I am considering I just don't have enough facts yet to actually do it.

Re: Do you use any man-made rock in your tank?

I have seen some very nice man-made rock that is significantly cheaper and more eco-friendly than even base rock. It is available in some great shapes too.

I would definately consider using it if I set up another tank.

I have some aragonite/cement based rock in my tank. I like it, but its definitely much denser and heavier than say fiji, but otherwise its great.

Thank you for voting guys!

Bentmywookie: Do you know what the aggregates were in the mix... was it just aragonite and cement?
