My 120g

Hey everyone, been a while since I have posted anything about my tank, I upgraded from a 55 to a 120 display with a 40 breeder sump/fuge.

Here's the tanks current specs
120g DT
40g Sump/Fuge
2 Mega Over Flows
Phosban Reactor(Running Kent Marine phosphate sponge.)
Aqua C Remora Skimmer(I know it's WAY under skimming, but I don't have that large of a bio-load yet and my water params are normal, I'll be upgrading this before I get more fish/livestock.)
Sedra 9000 Return pump
Modded MJ1200 with the 2100gph impellar
2 damsels(soon to leave)
Blue Mandarin
Lawnmower Blenny

175+ lbs of LR
about 90 lbs of LS (going to add more, I'm not happy with the coverage or depth of the sand, I have some bare spots)
The tank has been up for approx 4 months now.

Here is my photobucket link because if I linked them all, there'd be 30 pictures in this post. lol

Let me know what you all think please... This is really my first tank, I had my 55 up for about 5 months, then switched...

Re: My 120g

Looking pretty good! I have never been a huge fan of the artificial decorations in a tank, but you seemed to pull it off alright.

Re: My 120g

Haha, thanks. I had that pillar thing sitting in a box full of my freshwater stuff, my step-dad insisted it would look sweet in the tank, so I tried to use it as a center piece and just put a rock on top of it to try and hide it a little but still see it, and also create a nice big "cave" in there... My mandarin hangs out in there all the time.

I actually like it - its different. I think it will look cool when the pillars are all encrusted in coralline.

Nice job.

Re: My 120g

Thank you both, I was actually waiting to get bashed about it. LoL I know it's definitely not the best looking tank, but hey, I'm freaking 4 foot tall and am working with a tank that is 2 foot tall on it's own, not including stand lol.

I'm hoping to be upgrading the lights in within the next two months. I am going to go with a 6 bulb T5 ice cap retrofit with 4 bulbs being over-driven.

Re: My 120g

How deep is your tank? Do you think thats enough light for a 48x24x24?
