| Scopas Tang | great marine store asheville nc I live in asheville, NC. And I go to a extremely knowledgeable LFS Named the asheville aquarium. I bought a Nova extreme 1126 model light setup when I first got my aquarium going not knowing which direction I wanted to go, Reef or fowlr. So when I decided to go reef and updrade lighting to Nova extreme 1081- 6 tube HO t-5 . They let me trade the old one back in and gave me the ORIGINAL Price paid for it minus the cost of one t5 bulb. (The 1081 ) arrived with a broken bulb. So we took one out of the old fixture. AND knocked $100 off price of new fixture... They have told me on several occasions that a piece of equipment is not nessecary for a tank my size and lightly stocked. When they could've just sold it an made more money. The store and all its tanks are generally extremely clean. These are good people....

__________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!
