| Madame Klanganator ![]() | Re: wat corals are good for a 24g tnk Hi, and welcome to RS! What lighting do you have? I have the 24g aquapod with pc lighting, and I have ricordia florida, some rhodactic mushrooms, sponges, gorgonians, a trachyphylia (sp?) geoffryi (open brain), a branching euphyllia ancora (hammer coral) and a fungia repanda. The last three are LPS, the others are softies and octocorals.

| Madame Klanganator ![]() | Re: wat corals are good for a 24g tnk So you need to find lower light corals, too. Some lps will do okay under this pc lighting, especially if you feed them occasionally. The three I have look really good, and they're growing nicely. What look do you like? What are you thinking of doing? How old is the tank, and what fish do you have, or want to get?

| Achilles Tang | Re: wat corals are good for a 24g tnk i have a candy cane/trumpet coral in my 45g with pc lighting and it has done very well. although it needs stronger lighting i started off with it at the top of the tank and slowly moved it down to it current mid tank placement that way it was getting the stronger lighting that it needed being high up and it pretty much acclimated to the lower lighting as i moved it down |
