| Torch coral | I noticed today a few white spots on my Coral Beauty Angel. I'm guessing it's ich. Perhaps the fish was stressed when I made the switch between my old 15g and new 50g last week. The fish seems fine otherwise. I've read that soaking food in garlic for a few weeks might help. I tried it today for the first time. I bought some garlic softgels from my local CVS, stuck the end of the softgel with a straight pin and squirted the contents onto some Tetra Marine flakes. My questions is: is the food supposed to get all clumpy? When I put it into the tank, it sort of stays all clumped together and also results in an oily film on the tanks surface. Am I doing this right? As a side note, I also purchased a Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp today. Maybe it'll do some good.

| Golden Moray | I've seen the arguments for and against garlic. I know one person who swears that his pet store saw tremendous improvement after using garlic. I know of others who have claimed it's just snake oil. As a result, I started a poll Here regarding garlic. Since it sounds like you are using it on flake food, I would let it soak in and dry during the day and then break up the clump with your finger and thumb before feeding.

| Rabid Wolverine Reefer ![]() | from what i have read its more of a preventative than a cure, keeps the vampires away...lol. keep the tank params steady and avoid any further stresses and it may go away on its own.

| Achilles Tang ![]() | I bought a bottle of aged garlic extract from the natural food store. It does not have any of the oil found in the gel caps. As Witfull suggests I relate to it as a preventitive anti-vampire charm.
