Seems that the irc server (irc.afterx.net) is down - and has been for a while.

It seems that since they made the switch from xnet to afterx, that there have been tons of problems.

Nothing to do with us ~ unfortunately nothing we have any control over, or can fix -- it's irc server issues.

At this time, I'm on neon.afterx.net and that server is working. It appears that sirius.afterx.net is also up and connected.

Just set either of these as your server for the time being and it should work alright... it appears that the afterx.net hub is getting DOS'd (denial of service... 'attacked' in other words) which is why we're unable to connect through it.

I've tried other servers, but they don't appear to be up or connected to the network.

HTH.

Oh, and I'm there lurking.

P.S. Upon further inspection, it appears that neon.afterx.net is forwarding connections to sirius.afterx.net, so either way you end up on sirius' server.
