Concepts

You replace the leaves of the tree with liverocks, the branches are the rods holding your rocks into a main rock at the center.

Use the zengarden placement of the rocks to guide an overall look; the placement of the rockwork.You can get zengarden picture on the net easy.

Be careful with FOAM! There are several reefers (some members here) who have had MASSIVE Algae out-breaks that all have one common factor... FOAM for scaping! It's not known yet exactly what IS causing this but it seems the foam is the one common denominator. It's not official because as you know some others have had NO problems. Just make sure anyone who uses FOAM is fore-warned at least to the potential to issues.

Hey thanks, as for the foam, it could be the brand or kind of foam; i will contact my source who uses foam; the guy from Ottawa invert is a friend of mine. And i'll post it with the info. Thanks for noticing the issue.

Those are some great scapes. I may just have to see if I can modify one for my tank. I really like the ones where you show the power head placement.

Thanks, i try to find that kind of info, cause, there's not point having complex structure if you don't plan for waterflow, and thats the ball game in planing your rockwork. And tanks for the sticky, hope it helps lots of people with their design.
