| Tuxedo Urchin | Oi! Not having one but knowing people that do are you sure that the micro bubbles aren't being formed in the pump? Water comming out of a return could cause big bubbling because of the agitation of the water, but little bubbles seems to me either the pump making them or there is small air leak somewhere and air is being sucked in the line. Any help? Cheers! nigle !~! |

| Reef Sanctuary's Mr. Wizard ![]() | Also check you input line from the siphon all the way to the pump. If there is the right kind of bend in there, air will get trapped and at some point in time it will get carried to the pump, causing it to cavitate and produce small bubbles. Lines aren't often filled with water. Also check your sump, to make sure turbulence is not to great around the input of the pump. That will cause cavitation also. Then there is the issue of the water being over 100 %saturation, O2, which can causes bubbles to collect but I don't think that is your problem. ![]()
