Unhappy WTH is that?????????

Hi All maybe someone can help
. I wasjust feeding my anenome and noticed in one of the rocks caves something that looks like a web covering the inside! Really looks like when a spider covers a corner. I cant get a picture. Its in a hard to see area. I tried looking things up on good ole google but cant find anything. Have you ever seen something like this? I will try again tomorrow to take pics, maybe have someone take pic while I pick up the rock. Help please

Re: WTH is that?????????

There are sessile tube worms that put out a webbing much like you described. They wait for food particles to collect in the 'webbing', then pull it in and feed. They dont hurt anything.
