| Tridacna maxima ![]() | Re: hello all IME, a white anemone is never healthy. What type of lighting do you have on the tank? Do you know why the clowns died? Have you fed the anemone at all? I'm moving this to the General Reef Discussion forum so you will get more replies.

| Do I look as lost as I am ![]() | Re: hello all Can you tell (without touching it with your hand) if it's tentacles are still sticky/tacky? Has it expelled anything out of it's mouth lately? How long has it been like this? How long has this tank been set up?

It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. | Scopas Tang | Re: hello all It might be purging? I had an anemone way back when i did Fowlr and one day i came home and it had shrunk but still kept its color and stuff so i knew it wasn't dead. I read online about anemones purging and it did it every friday like clock work. |
