i'm kinda thinking about starting my own drygoods business, mainly foods and vitamins etc... does anyone know who i can contact to buy what i need to start... kinda just want to help out the people around here if they run out of something, and can't get stuff.. thanks

youll have to find a wholesaler, or someone that will sell it to you CHEAP!! Maybe try Tradekey.com and Yahoo Business Directory

I don't know what kind of rules you have in Canada or your city...but...
You could get a resale certificate and business license and go direct. Call some of the places of the products that you want to sell and see what is required. If you can't pony up for their minimum order, they can usually direct you to their distributor.

You might just do okay - if there are enough local reefer to keep you busy. We have one reef store and it's been doing well for 2 years now.

There are also products that the main stores don't carry that you might want to stock.

Tailored Aquatics is one such company. I've used his products. Very good. Only our single reef store carries it (I'm in Saskatoon).
