Snails!

Do you think snails actually try to "go with the flow" or do they end up in the overflow just because they actually travel everywhere and it just seems like they go overflow because it is a pain to get them out?
And another thing why do you think they would want to crawl up the glass and out of the water sometimes?
Crazy little buggers.

Re: Snails!

hey,
now that you mention that, ive noticed that my snails always like to hang out on the intake and exsust of powerheads, on my HOB overflow "on the slits where the water falls into the overflow. So maybe they do like the flow. also they do like to put 1/2 of there body out of the water too. there are some crazy little buggers

ps. ive never had them actully go into the overflow though.

Re: Snails!

Yep, I fishem out of the overflow box sometimes. Anyone have ideas to the reasons they crawl out of w, and go flow? are they just curious? crawling out of w is strange no?
