Unhappy Just as everything was going good... DISASTER. :(

Well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later.

ICH has struck my 10g Nano.

I can't believe this. It's on my clown obviously.

I neither have, nor can afford, nor have the space for... a hospital tank....

I am MAJORLY bummed.........

Tom cant you buy a 10 gallon tank, thier only about 25 bucks here. that way you could put the clown in it and start a hyposalinity treatment on it.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

I would! Believe me! I would! But, I don't have any more space in my dinky sized room that I live in. Maybe I can try that Kick Ich stuff?

careful about using "Ich" treatments. They can contain nasties that are unwanted in our tanks. Even a 10 gallon rubber maid container would work. I know about space being an issue, trust me, but the tank doesn't have to be up 100% of the time. It'll save you money, and keep your fish happy. Then you can treat the hospital tank with ich treatmenst.

Well, I actually got some good advice and help last night in the chat room. I'm currently working on the situation and it's improving.

Also, the cleaner is cleaning at least one of the fish: The bicolor blenny, who has become a pure BEGGAR!

Soak your fish food in garlic, everyone should at least once a week.IMO I've seen fish kick ich just by starting to feed garlic at the first sign of ich.

hmmm, i put garlic in my tank with almost every feeding. unfortunatley I lost my black clowns, gramma and bi color blenny due to ich.

I even tried Kent Rx , raised the tank temp and lowered the sg.
