| Reef Lobster ![]() | Will this hold my 30? Preparations for my 30 gallon prop tank continue. I was wondering if you guys think this will hold the 30 gallon. It is held up by two legs in the front and is nailed into two studs in the rear. My 20 gallon freshwater tank was on it with no apparant problem. Just wondering if you think I should reinforce it somehow. Would love to hear any and all opinions...

| the wood dude ![]() | scott i'm sure it will but if you want to be on the safe side i would use a stud finder or you did say the back was nailed in the rear so you dont need a stud finder but i would add some screws to the back where the nails are and screw a couple 2x4's to 2 of the studs vertically from the bottom of the top to just above your floor moulding. quick and easy and piece of mind all rolled into one. and the 2x4 witt mentioned is'nt a bad idea either. good luck scott.[dave].
