I am looking to buy a pH Probe. Anyone have any suggestions as to what brand and kind?

What would you suggest for a PH controller?
I'm going to be hooking up my Ca Reactor soon and need a controller for the Pinpoint PH monitor I have.

I would suggest a Yokogawa or Horiba but then you would put a contract out on me

Ok, all fun aside, PinPoint makes a controller. You can not make a monitor/handheld meter into a contoller, it is a whole new world

For JUST the controller around $1,000.00 but then you will need about $500.00 worth of add-ons, i.e., probe, cable, etc..

If there is something better/easier I would go that route.

Although they don't make tjhe best equipment, when compared to the "real stuff" their's fits our needs.

If you want to get into it more, then there is the more hi-tech companies for the hobby
