I was doing so well yesterday, the tank was on it's own... But then I came to work. I glanced at it, and from his chaeto home, Omen shot forward to greet me. I smile as I see his jabbering jaw. I admit, I started talking to him and trying to perform fish whisperer skills to figure out what he is saying. Next thing I know, ten minutes later.. face pressed against acrylic, hand in tank, watching as he follows my hand in the water.

deciding that he is cussing me out for not feeding him. I fall off the wagon completely.. yes I fed him!! not once, not twice, but three times. I am so ashamed

Thanks for your support and allowing me to confess my addictions

Frankie, That is one of the worst things I have ever heard.
Ok guys and gals. What is considered success or failure? Not getting another tank is a victory of sorts for me.

Not talking to the fish or staring for more than 20 minutes would be another level. (not sure I want to go there)
Obviously I am not going to give up my reefs so I am just curious what the goal is here or is it just a gathering of fishy friends and their humans who admit they have a problem?

Hmmm....I wonder if I could get away with taking a martini in to my LFS? I could feed 2 addictions at once!

Yeah, Lynn, this is an addiction I don't really want a cure for...it's just fun to listen to the silly things others do with their tanks too. My bank account controls my addiction to a pretty good degree. I AM a reef-a-holic, unfortunately I am incurable...
