Clownfish and Clown Goby In Love

Seriously. Who else can I share this with but ya'll?

The yellow clown goby "scotty" perches on the clam in front of the clownfish "sara" who is hosting in a small head of torch coral.

Off and on today Sara goes and rubs all over Scotty on the clam and vice versa. I keep trying to get a pic... but whenever I come close one or the other scoots off - like "nope, we won't give you proof of our affair."

It's adorable. I hope I get a pic.

ps: I'm still watching the white spotted area on the clownfish hoping it's a scratch and nothing else. She is swimming and eating fine. So cross your fingers!

Strange affairs happen in tanks, don't they? My firefish and watchman have a secret affair as well.

ha my watchmen cheated on his pistol buddy for a while wit my tomato... but that ended after a while

I think my Jawfish got pissed at me for looking at the tank at night with a light (for pods). I could not find her this morning and went for a search. Alas the tell tale signs of piles of sand = digging new burrow. This time it's way in the back where I can't see her.

One should not piss off ones fish eh?

My clowns have sort of paired but during the day the male cheats with the midas blenny. So clowns together at night and during the day the male is out galavanting with a midas. Hopefully his mother won't find out , she would be devastated.
