My kenya tree looks white and shrunken in some spots. Are they dying?

All leathers are known to pout. Just make sure there is some flow to blow away the slime and it will likely be fine. Check your parameters since they do like good water quality. Also mine don't look very well at night or when the lights first turn on.
If it doesn't make it pay for shipping and I'll send you a new one. Mine is shedding babies big time right now.
