i went to my lfs to pick up some live sand and a couple of large pieces of lr. i wander around with the wife, she sees a maroon clown and rbt, she tells me that after we get the livestock back in the 80 she wants one. okay ,cool then i get looking at it. its about 8inches and the colors off.i start looking and i notice that they have it in a 16x16x16 cube with a 65 watt pc hanging a foot above it. so i tell the owner that she needs to move it to one of the tanks with halides. she just looks at me blankly. fine i think to myself and move on to the lr. this time i pissed her off cause her seeded lr is nothing but base rock. she tells me she is leaving and her niece will help us. her niece tells my wife to hang on. as soon as the owners gone she walks us into the back to a tank of beautiful seeded tonga lr, tells me to grab a couple of the rocks i want. turns out all the good lr was pulled for some lawyers new tank. this is the same girl that has nursed my red brain back to health and has been nothing but good to us. she rings us up and as i'm loading the car i notice theres an extra bag. inside is the clown and rbt. i look at the recipt and we weren't charged for it. it turn around with the bag in my hand and see the girl in the store waving me on. with a get outta here look. and thats exactly what we did lol
i don't know if its that she felts sorry about my system crash or if its cause we have mary's tanks and she bought everything from them.
i moved the 48. inch fixture off the 80 and propped it over the qt tank screened it and turned on just 1 of the halides. then put the 2 40 watt pc fixtures i had over the 80 while it cycles..
i'm pretty sure we can nurse it back to health
