I here they are a easy coral to keep as long as you have the right lights and flow for them.

| Elegance coral | Re: Duncan I have some that are doing great. They're in med/high flow and about 17" under 175W MH's. They sprout new heads often, but it takes them a long time to grow their own skeleton. They'll eat like crazy if you feed them. I don't feed mine that often though.

| Torch coral | Re: Duncan Luck has next to nothing to do with keeping any animal in captivity. Use a bit of informed discretion in choosing an addition and give it suitable conditions and it will thrive. That being said Duncans are one of the easiest LPS there is to keep. They're not picky about light, and pretty forgiving in terms of water quality. As long as you feed them regularly and maintain reasonable water quality they'll grow like weeds. In the not too distant future they'll be dirt cheap because of this. Of course the more colorful morphs will always command a premium above the run of the mill ones, but even they'll be cheaper as time goes by. John

| Beautiful Katamari ![]() | Re: Duncan I have had sucess with Duncans. I started with 5 heads of two different species and now I have at least 30 heads. Mine are under 250W MH, in moderately high flow. They are voracious eaters and I feed them 3 times a week. ![]()

| Golden Moray | Re: Duncan Mrcoral has them for 12 bucks a head right now. If you've ever wanted one you'd be hard pressed to find them cheaper. I could actually buy those and sell them to a store here and make money.

| Do I look as lost as I am ![]() | Re: Duncan I LOVE my Duncans! Got them at MACNA XX from Mr Coral and like others have stated each head has multiple babies sprouting from it. This coral isn't readily available here locally so I'm hoping to be able to get some into the "System" here and get them "On the map". Chris maybe you can go in with a local reefer there and combine orders then split shipping. Check into shipping rates from Mr Coral... you may be surprised. ![]()
