| Golden Moray | blastos and Zoo's . advice please. Walked passed the tank tonight and noticed the blastos were laying face down in the sand so I picked them up and put them back but I guess I turned them a different direction. All the polyps were closed except for two really odd colors. Upon closer inspection I noticed two unreal looking zoo's growing out of the blastos. I can't remember ever seeing these zoos anywhere for sale. So I get that real excited pit in my stomach cause these things are gourgeous ableit still tiny. Only my actinics were on but it looks like a true blue center with a deep highlighter red outer. Heres the dilmena once I settled down I kept staring trying to figure out how in the world I can get those zoos out. I could tear apart my blastos but would be a real good chance of damage to the zoos in the process since I only have two very tiny polyps emerging. I need to know if they will tolerate each other or do I need to get them out? Last thing I want is the blastos killing the zoos. Wish I could take a pic of them but they are so tiny there is no way my cam is gonna get a shot. I've looked over at least 200 pics of zoos tonight and see this morph no where.

| Golden Moray | Re: blastos and Zoo's . advice please. hmm I think these are them. Makes sense since Mr. Coral is selling these and the blastos came from there. http://www.mrcoral.com/store/images/F56A.jpg Either way they look sweet.

| Reef Lobster | Re: blastos and Zoo's . advice please. I don't have blastos but my zoos and acans started to grow into each other. There was some strange disintegration going on like they were fighting for space. I try to keep them away from each other and cut the zoos off the rock.

| Reef Lobster | Re: blastos and Zoo's . advice please. If they are the zoas in the mr coral link, then they are likely Keds Reds. Nice zoas but not particularly rare. I would not sacrifice the blastos to get the zoanthids off the coral or visa versa. If it were me, I would simply let nature take it's course.

| Golden Moray | Re: blastos and Zoo's . advice please. I saw the keds but these look a tad different. Once I saw the supermans on mrcorals for sale I stopped worrying about it so much. I still like them but I am gonna see what happens. When I was staring at them under straight actinics I was like holy crap. The colors just beamed out of the zoo and got my adreniline pumping hard. I took a long look at the blastos and I can get to the zoos by removing only two heads of the blastos which I shuold be able to do without hurting the two heads. I was more concerned with ripping the zoo's apart in the process. When you think your looking at the posibility of a rare or one of a kind morph that would be the last thing I'd want to do. Gonna give them a couple weeks and see what happens.
