Re: help! my striped goby has a gill that has seemed to die...

im guessing that the algae blenny is fine... but the other fish, striped goby, it is his GILL that turned white and the only reason i noticed it was a peice came off this morning, does that sound normal?

lawnmower blennies have bluish white spots on them. I don't see anything out of the ordinary on him. On the other fish do are you sure it wasn't a piece of substrate that got trapped in his gill and then came out in front of you? I don't notice anything obvious in the picture.
